The Calvià Town Hall assumes through own means the municipal tax collection service from 1st May.
The Calvià Town Hall continues with the proceedings initiated for the internalisation of the municipal tax collection service, following the report issued by the Standing Committee of the Advisory Board on Administrative Procurement of the CAIB, which concludes that it can not extend temporarily the current service contract.
In order to guarantee the provision of the municipal tax collection service from 1st May, the Town Hall had already started up the necessary mechanisms in case of having to assume the tax collection service with its own resources from that date. To this, it was agreed at the negotiating table with unions the temporary provision of places on services commission so that the service is not interrupted.
In addition, the Town Hall has reached an agreement with the current awardee for the lease of the facilities and the necessary means to provide the service immediately.
So, from 1st May the service will be provided with the Town Hall's own means, while a definitive formula of provision of the service through a municipal autonomous body of management and tax collection is designed.
