The City Council has assigned nearly 24,000 euros to the SATE translation service at the Guardia Civil.
THE SATE (ATTENTION SERVICE FOR FOREIGN TOURISTS) STARTS ON THE 1ST OF JUNE AT THE GUARDIA CIVIL OFFICES IN MAGALUF AND PEGUERA
The Town Hall has assigned nearly 24,000 euros to this service.
From the 1st of June until the 30th of September, the attention and translation service for foreign tourists starts again, one more year, at the municipal offices that are at the disposal of the Guardia Civil in Magaluf and Peguera.
This is a service that the Town Hall helps the Guardia Civil with, attenting and helping out with information to visitors who don't speak the official languages of the Balearic Islands and have to do paperwork at the Guardia Civil police station, all within the cooperation framework between the two institutions. Thus, the Town Council reinforces the security services of the municipality with a budget of 23,840.70 euros.
The service is provided from Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm in Magaluf offices and from 10 am to 2 pm in Peguera.
