Collaboration between both public broadcasters
RÀDIO CALVIÀ AND IB3 SIGN A COLLABORATION AGREEMENT
The Mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, and the Director General of IB3, Andreu Manresa, have entered into an agreement to create a framework of radio collaboration between Ràdio Calvià and the broadcasting station of the Public Entity, IB3 Ràdio.
With this agreement, IB3 offers Ràdio Calvià the possibility of broadcasting the IB3 Ràdio daily news simultaneously. Also, the municipal radio station can broadcast programmes of the regional public radio station that it deems appropriate, also simultaneously.
On its behalf, IB3 Ràdio can include Calvià Ràdio programmes in its programming with the aim of boosting its own production of radio programmes developed by municipal radios.
The duration of the agreement has been established for a period of one year, tacitly renewable for successive years.
Calvia Ràdio broadcasts programmes from 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. at the frequency 107.4 FM. IB3 Ràdio broadcasts in Menorca through the frequency 88.6 FM, in Ibiza-Formentera through 93.7 FM and in Mallorca through 106.8 FM.
