Monday 5th September 2016

A family of British tourists wanted to thank two local policemen of Calvià who last year attended a a family member who suffered a cardiac arrest.

The two officers, Antonio Lozano and Amable Serrano, attended the call, performing resuscitation exercises while awaiting the arrival of the ambulance. The wife of the affected, Robert Fall, wanted to thank them for their quick action and the support given to the family while the wounded was taken to hospital, and in the following days.

In a letter sent a few days ago, Mr. Fall's wife asked to acknowledge these two policemen, and extend it to all who helped in the recovery of her husband.

Today they have met in the hotel where they are spending a few days with the whole family. They have given them a gift and a plaque in which is appreciated "the rapid response to save Robert Fall's life", on 12
th October 2015.

In addition to the British couple and their family, the head of the Local Police of Calvià, Justino Trenas, the inspector Antonio Pascual and the president of the Hotel Association of Palmanova-Magaluf, Sebastián Darder, were also at the small act of gratitude.
