'BECALVIÀ 2016' SCHOLARSHIPS' PRESENTATION OF DIPLOMAS
The diplomas corresponding to the training scholarships in 'BeCalvià 2016' companies were presented on 31st August to the 29 students that this Summer have participated in the programme performing practices in different companies and -for the first time- in various municipal departments.
The diplomas were presented by the Mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, the Deputy Mayor for Social Cohesion and Equality, Nati Francés, and the vice-rector of Graduate Students and Employability of the UIB, Margalida Payeras.
The event was also attended by the Deputy Mayor for General Services and Security, Andreu Serra, the Deputy Mayor for Tourism, Trade and Urban Planning, Antonio García Moles, and the Councillor of Esquerra Oberta, Alfonso Rodríguez Sánchez, as well as representatives of the companies that have welcomed grant holders this Summer.
'BeCalvià' is an initiative of Calvià Town Hall, through the IMEB, and in agreement with the UIB, which consists in a programme of Summer scholarships in companies.
