THE TOWN HALL OF CALVIÀ ATTENDS THE WORLD TRAVEL MARKET FAIR IN LONDON UNDER THE SLOGAN 'DELVE INTO CALVIÀ'

Exhibition visitors will discover a new Calvià that can be enjoyed 365 days a year thanks to a 360º video

The Mayor will also attend several work meetings

The Mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, attends the World Travel Market tourism fair in London with an agenda of meetings with travel agencies, tour operators and ABTA (British Travel Agents Association), which will take place at the Balearic Islands stand. Meetings will be held with representatives of Tui-Thomson, Easyjet Holidays, Travel Republic, On the Beach, Jet 2 and Elite Travel Group. The Mayor will be accompanied by the Deputy Mayor for Tourism, Antonio García Moles, and the General Director for Tourism, Joan Mesquida.

On Tuesday, the Mayor will also be meeting with the new director of the Spanish Tourist Office in London, Javier Piñares.

In addition, during the exhibition, the Mayor will have contact with mayors of municipalities with mature tourist resorts, such as Lloret de Mar and Salou.

Calvià travels to London with the aim of promoting the town 365 days a year, especially in the medium-low season, with the organization of sport events, activities in nature such as hiking, and tourism initiatives related to business activities and conferences.

The Town Hall will have on show this year at the Balearic Islands stand visual material for visitors under slogan 'Delve into Calvià', so they can learn more about the municipality that offers new experiences 365 days of the year. A 360º video has been edited which can be seen on the Town Hall's Youtube channel and that is accessible via QR. It can also be enjoyed at the stand with special glasses.
