This new programme called RUTAS DE CALVIÀ II, counts on the external funding of 227.131,87 €, is driven by the Environment Department and the IFOC, and combines work (through a 12-month training contract) and training.

It is a project that will allow 10 young people under 30 years old, job seekers and enrolled in the National Youth Guarantee Platform, to obtain two professionalism certificates: "GUIDE FOR LOW AND MEDIUM MOUNTAIN ITINERARIES” and "REVITALISATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH EDUCATIONAL LEISURE ACTIVITIES". A team of 4 professionals has also been hired, which, in addition to the teaching and management of these specialties, will offer a path of individual insertion, continuous tutoring and transversal training in topics such as: labour insertion and job search techniques, equal opportunity between men and women, computer literacy and environmental awareness.

At the end of the course, all the participants will receive a diploma accrediting the complementary training and the two professionalism certificates. Finally, the IFOC will encourage their recruitment through the Municipal Employment Agency or through the entrepreneur service.

With this one, 4 projects are now developed this year in Calvià Town Hall with these same characteristics and sources of funding, and all of them focus on the improvement and refurbishment of Galatzó, true green lung and area of special environmental, tourist, cultural and sports appeal in the municipality.
