Calvià at the IX National Conference on Quality and Modernisation of the Local Administration organised by the FEMP and the City Hall of Málaga

CALVIÀ TOWN HALL EXHIBITS ITS WORKING LINES ON THE SUBJECT OF TRANSPARENCY AND INNOVATION AT THE IX NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON QUALITY AND MODERNISATION OF THE LOCAL ADMINISTRATION
Calvià Town Hall has participated in the IX National Conference on Quality and Modernisation of the Local Administration, organised by the FEMP and the City Council of Málaga, which took place in the capital of Málaga on 10th and 11th November.
During the conference, which was attended by the Deputy Mayor for Economy, Employment and Innovation, Mari Carmen Iglesias, the Deputy Mayor for Citizen Participation and Youth, Fernando Alcaraz, and the General Director of Transparency, Jaime Tovar, two of the last experiences that Calvià Town Hall has implemented in the area of Transparency and Innovation were presented, such as the Accountability methodology and the comprehensive evaluation of the local government that is developing through the UNE 66182 standard.
Regarding the Accountability, the experience developed so far has been explained, the citizen participation strategy that has been developed and the specific website that has been elaborated and that contains very detailed data and results in the main areas of the municipal management. With regards to the UNE 66182 standard, it has been verified in the conference that Calvià is at the head of the municipalities as for its implementation.
