-The contest was intended to raise awareness of the responsibility of collecting dog droppings and dynamizing the new Facebook page @calvia2000
Andreu Serra, deputy mayor of the Ajuntament de Calvià and president of the municipal company Calvià 2000, has handed out this morning the prizes for the photograph contest #YoRespondo, organised on Facebook by Calvià 2000.
This contest had a double objective: on one hand, it is a continuation of the awareness increase campaign initiated this year that intends that dog owners of Calvià take responsibility of the collection of the their pets's droppings; And, on the other hand, it is intended to dynamize the Facebook @ calvia2000 website, recently created.
Sebastià Bis, first ranked with 256 votes on his photograph, has been accompanied by his daughter Xisca and his impressive Spanish mastiff, Queen. Marcela Tendero came with her daughters Marta and Andrea and Prada, her European cat, that had 246 votes. The third classified was Lucía Maldonado, with an image of her dog Maya, although she was not able to attend the awards meeting.
These responsible owners have received their Christmas basket from Andreu Serra; from Francisca Muñoz Alcaraz, councillor of Commerce, Activities and Natural and Urban environment, and Sonia Moragues, manager of Calvia 2000.
