Neula Parc and the nit jove collect 8,500 euros for the Sonrisa Médica and Proyecto Micky Almohadas del Corazón thanks to the participation in the children's playground of Calvià

CHRISTMAS PARK NEULA PARC AND NIT JOVE MAKE 8,500 EUROS FOR SONRISA MÉDICA AND ALMOHADAS DEL CORAZÓN
The event that has been held in the Pavelló Galatzó has had about 6,000 people
The children's playground Neula Parc and the party of the Nit Jove have collected a total of 8,570 euros, in three and a half days in which they were open to the public in the Galatzó Pavelló, of the urbanization Galatzó de Santa Ponça.
The Ajuntament de Calvià organised this edition of the Neula Parc with the double objective of children, young people and families' fun, and of solidarity by allocating one hundred percent of the collection of family tickets and entry fees to two social entities that this year have been Sonrisa Médica and Proyecto Micky Almohadas del Corazón. This morning, Mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, accompanied by the deputy Mayors of Social Cohesion Nati Francés and Youth Fernando Alcaraz, and the councillor of Social Welfare Mayte Albertí, have done symbolic delivery of the checks with the amount of 4.285 euros for each one of the two associations, represented by the manager of Sonrisa Médica, Marta Barrio, and the chair of Almohadas del Corazón, María José Loly de Cooman.
Neula Parc opened its doors on 27th December, and it has seen 5,500 people (adults and children) who could enjoy new attractions and new features such as the expansion of outdoor space, with activities carried out in collaboration with the Consell de Mallorca And Motor Club Calvià, or the realization of workshops and storytelling in the Galatzó library, in charge of the IMEB. In the Galatzó pavilion, in addition to the attractions and animations, more than 1,000 children have passed through the workshops that have been carried out by the 10 IFOC monitors of the Youth Guarantee Programme, the Department of Social Welfare and Deixalles.
Neula Parc finished after the celebration of Nit Jove on the 30th, which featured performances by Kids on the block, Dj Arturo Grao and Dj Agus. About 450 young people enjoyed that night who, in addition, had free transportation that covered all the areas of the municipality.
The Mayor of Calvià, during the delivery of the checks, wanted to thank all the citizens of Calvià who visited the park, and the visitors who came to the Galatzó pavilion, as their participation in the event has contributed to two solidarity issues.
