The Mayor of Calvià meets with the taxi sector
The Mayor of Calvià received this week the representatives of the taxi drivers of Calvià to express them the position of the municipal government team before the proposal of the commissioning of the tourist bus lines in Calvià.
At that meeting, he told them that the government team did not request this tourist transport connection, since it does not solve the fundamental problems that the municipality has in terms of urban and interurban connections of the citizenship of the municipality, and that is how he notified the conselleria.
Likewise, and given the concern of the taxi sector, he committed himself to mediate between the Government and the sector itself in the search for solutions agreed and adapted to the needs detected, as he has done so far with the connection of transport on demand with Son Espases, or with the changes and improvements of the lines 104 and 111.
