The I Conference on Vocational Guidance of Calvià will be held on 9th May from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Casal de Peguera. The event has been organised from the IMEB and the CUC, and it is the first time that an activity of this type is organised in the municipality
It is expected the participation of around 340 students of 4th ESO from the IES Calvià, IES Bendinat and IES Son Ferrer.
In this Conference, students will have the possibility to inquire about the offer of studies and access to Baccalaureate, training cycles, university degrees and different offers of higher studies. There will also be a section to discover different professional fileds or professions. On the other hand, students may raise questions as well as ask questions to university students and graduates and in training cycles in the section 'Joves Mentors'.
The I Conference on Vocational Guidance of Calvià will also have a motivational and creative conference conducted by César García-Rincón de Castro, trainer and consultant for companies and organisations in the field of education, social action and people management. He holds a PhD in Sociology, a degree in Industrial Sociology and a degree in Social Work.
