The Town Hall and the hoteliers of Palmanova-Magaluf explain the forecasts for 2017 in the Assembly of the hotel association of these zones

The Mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, attended the meeting of the Assembly of the Hotel Association of Palmanova-Magaluf, in which the forecasts for this tourist season were announced, and the Town Hall explained the actions planned in both areas.
The Mayor, in his speech has announced the start of the works for this coming winter, the improvement of Galió St. in Magaluf whose project is already drafted, while he has explained that the improvement of the surroundings of Torrenova, Martín Ros García and Punta Ballena streets is under study. Regarding Palmanova, he has also announced improvement actions planned, such as the area of Punta Nadala square, which are being defined.
Rodríguez Badal, who was accompanied by the deputy mayor for Tourism, Antonio García Moles; and the councillors of the area of Magaluf, Alfonso Molina, and the area of Palmanova, Francisca Muñoz; as well as the director general of Tourism, Joan Mesquida, and Urban Planning, Jaume Carbonero; explained to the members of the Hotel Association of Palmanova-Magaluf that these concrete actions will progress within the framework of the revision of the General Plan that contemplates the remodeling of Magaluf in the medium term and that includes, amongst others outstanding actions, the recovery and preservation of the environmental values of the wet lands of Magaluf.
