The Mayor welcomes the joint patrols

The Mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, welcomed this morning the foreign police officers who will be part of the joint patrols of Calvià along with the Civil Guard, to welcome them to the municipality. The officers of the French Gendarmerie and the Italian "Carabinieri" have come accompanied by the lieutenant commander of the main post of the Civil Guard of Calvià, Eduardo Herrero. The event was also attended by the deputy mayor for Security, Andreu Serra, and the head of the Local Police of Calvià, Justino Trenas.

Satisfaction with the announcement of the Regional Government to regulate the All Inclusive as it has been requested by the Calvià Town Hall

The mayor also met today with the president of the Palmanova-Magaluf hoteliers, Sebastián Darder, and representatives of other tourist and leisure sectors of the municipality, in the same work line that he called last week in which he requested the commitment and the involvement of everyone to face the drinking tourism.

Alfonso Rodríguez Badal pointed out that "we have to congratulate ourselves" on the announcement made yesterday by the vice president of the Regional Government and Regional Minister of Tourism, Biel Barceló, to amend the law to limit the all inclusive's alcohol. As it is something in which Calvià Town Hall has insisted since the beginning of the legislature.

He has insisted on the message "either the work is done jointly or we will not succeed" to end the resistance to change that still exists.
