CALVIÀ TOWN HALL ACTIVATES THE BUDGET PORTAL THAT ALLOWS VIEWING THE DISTRIBUTION OF MUNICIPAL ACCOUNTS AND KNOW WHERE EACH EURO OF TAXES GOES
It is a platform that aims to promote citizens interest in greater involvement in public management
The Calvià Town Hall makes a public platform available so that all interested people can monitor the municipal budget management. From today, you can access the budget portal that improves the data understanding and view of both, the Town Hall and the Municipal Institute of Education and Libraries (IMEB) and the Municipal Tax Office of Calvià.
The Calvià Budget Portal, which can be easily accessed through the municipal website (www.calvia.com or calvia.conmisimpuestos.com), allows to view how budgets are distributed, showing it in a graphical and simple way, which is the origin of the income and where the expenditure goes to, both in the budgetary planning phase, and in the subsequent execution, being able to compare it with other years or budget years from 2011 to 2018.
The Budget Portal also allows, and in an advisory manner, to know where the money that citizens contribute with their taxes goes.
With the launching of this platform, the Calvià Town Hall intends to decisively promote a mechanism that promotes transparency in the access to information and the interest of citizens in a greater involvement in public management.
