THE LAMP POSTS INSTALLATION AT THE ES CAPDELLÀ VILLAGE ENTRANCE HAS BEEN COMPLETED

The Calvià Town Hall has completed the lamp posts installation works at the Es Capdellà village entrance, along the Vell street, responding to a local claim. Thus, the project that began in 2016 to light up to the road between Calvià village and Es Capdellà also ends, a section often used by walkers and hikers.
All together, 11 low consumption LED technology streetlights have been installed in a section of about 400 metres, from the end of the Paseo Calvià-Es Capdellà stretch until the village entrance, along the Vell street, which has had a budget of 48,203.85 euros.
With these lampposts, light continuity is given to the area that remained without light after the installation of a light-line of 45 solar self-sufficient photovoltaic energy streetlights along the 1.5 km of the pedestrian area Paseo Calvià-Es Capdellà, so, altogether, about 2 km have been illuminated.
