151,000 EUROS INVESTMENT FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN THE TWO CALVIÀ CEMETERIES

The two cemeteries of Calvià will open during these days with a series of improvements that have involved an investment of 151,000 euros in 2018.

In the Calvià cemetery there have been actions such as the asphalting of the central square and the old part's entrance ramp, where a protection railing has also been installed. Likewise, the old chapel's roof has been repaired to avoid humidity, placing an asphalt cloth on the roof. Also, asphalt cloth and printed cement have been placed on the downpipes that descend from the funeral parlours to the workers offices. All these actions have involved an investment of 118,000 euros.

Es Capdellà cemetery has received 33,000 euros of investment to fix all the pathways, paint all the public-owned walls and to repair the pluvial drainage, channeling the water outlet to the street where a scupper has been installed.
