Meeting with Senegalese residents
The mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, and the deputy mayor of Urban Planning, Commerce and Activities, Marc López Expósito, received this morning a group of Senegalese that work in the tourist resort of Magaluf. The assistants, mostly workers in the hospitality industry, have transferred their concerns to the mayor because they are stigmatized or related to street sales and drug pushing. In fact, they plan to hold a demonstration in September to hold the message that the Senegalese community is responsible and hardworking, as well as to refuse to be linked to crime.
