PROCLAMATION AND SPEECH OF THE REI EN JAUME 2022 FESTIVITIES' INSTITUTIONAL EVENT
The Santa Ponça Cross has been, one more year, the scenario of the rei En Jaume 2022 festivities' institutional event, which have had chef Miquel Calent as herald.
The event began with the arrival of authorities and herald where the Gegants (giants) and the xeremiers (bagpipers) were waiting for them, who then moved towards the square where the Ball de Bot performance by the Pere Josep Cañelles Cultural-Musical Association took place. At the end, they moved to the Cross enclosure where mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal's speech, and chef Miquel Calent's proclamation were made. The floral offering, in which the groups and associations and entities of the municipality participated, closed the institutional event.
