XXIII Fira d'Oví i Caprí de Calvià – Animal competition awards ceremony

The XXIII Fira d'Oví i Caprí de Calvià (Calvià Sheep and Goat Fair) is held this weekend, today with the 'Colla Gegantera' and 'Caperrots' of Calvià parade and with the Fair's awards ceremony in which the best animals and corrals represented at the Fair have been awarded.

The prizes have been awarded by the president Francina Armengol, the mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, the councillor for the Environment Rafel Sedano, the Calvià village councillor M. Carmen Rojano, the regional minister of Economic Model, Tourism and Work Iago Negueruela, the island councillors Jaume Alzamora and Andreu Serra, and the general director of Agriculture of the Govern Fernando Fernández, who previously toured the fair.

A very lively fair with great attendance of people who have been able to visit the 60 stalls set up at the fair, with the gastronomic display, crafts and the associations of the municipality and Calvià's 'quintos' stands, as well as the animal exhibition that has brought together 63 corrals from 26 different livestock farms, with a total of 170 sheep and goats.

A total of 6 prizes have been awarded, and the winners are as follows:
