The mayor Carlos Delgado and the minister of Mobilitat i Ordenació sign an agreement to yield of free form the use of a space of the interchanger to the Local Group of Calvià's Autotourisms and I remove Taxi Calvià

Area for taxi drivers in the Intercambiador.

The Mayor of Calvià, Carlos Delgado, and the Minister of Mobility and Planning of the Balearic Government, Gabriel Vicens, have signed an amendment to the agreement for the use of the Interchange of Palmanova, granting an area, free of charge, to "la Agrupación Local de Autoturismos de Calvià y Radio Taxi Calvià" (Calvià taxi drivers).

In this way, use of the Interchange is promoted and help is given to the Calvià taxi drivers, who, as of now, can use the installations for meetings, parking and filling up of their vehicles.

The said agreement expands the original one, signed in December 2004 between Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM) and the Calvià Town Hall.  On that date, SFM conceded, at no cost, the use of the station grounds and the building to the Calvià Council, allowing them to use the building for  municipal purposes.

It was in December,  2002 that the Government and the Town Hall signed a joint agreement for the purchase of the land and the construction of the interchange for a total amount of 2,3 million euros. Later, in April of  2003, the board of directors of  SFM,  awarded the building contract to the company "Necso Entrecanales Cubiertas S.A.".
