The floats will parade through the following streets, Major, Avenida de Palma and Julià Bujosa Sans, batle culminating in a big party and prize giving in the car park of Calvià Town Hall.
Once again the fun filled carnival comes to town this month of February, where fancy dress costumes and floats parade through the streets of Calvià, filling the municipality with colour.
All participants will get together opposite the school, Ses Quarterades and will set off through the streets of Calvià, namely Calle Major, Avda de Palma and Julià Bujosa Sans, batle, finishing up in the Town Hall car park where there will be a celebration of prize giving. This year there are a total of 5 different categories to participate in, all of which have their corresponding awards.
Additionally, the post parade party is open to participants and anyone who wishes to join in with a Torrada ( barbeque ).
The inscription period for Sa Rua is from Wednesday 18th February to Friday 20th between 09.00 and 14.00 hours in the Department of Culture in the Town Hall. Otherwise in the cultural centre of Son Ferrer from Tuesday 17th to Thursday 19th between the hours of 17.00 to 21.00.
