The Town hall, together with the Councils of Alcúdia, Sant Antoni and Santa Eulàlia Eulàlia, has written letters of commitments on the beaches of the municipality and on the public estate Galatzó

The Action Plan for Beaches and Finca Galatzó.

Calvià Town Hall, is the main promoter of the improvement plan, created in recent months, with beaches and the “Finca Galatzo” in mind.

Four of the Balearic Town Halls, namely, Calvià, Alcúdia, Sant Antoni and Santa Eulàlia des Riu, under the supervision of Calvià experts, have written the action plans for the beaches of said municipalities, as well as the Galatzó Public Estate.

They all have the same objective, which is to raise awareness amongst residents with regard to services on offer on said beaches and "Finca Galatzó" whilst allowing local authorities to measure improvements made in each case.

The creation of these action plans comes as a result of an agreement signed last August with the Conselleria de Presidència, alongside the Department of Quality & Services, for the improvement of services within public administration.

As a result of said agreement, the main supporter of the project, Calvià, contacted the other Town Halls to encourage them to take part. Finally, four Town Halls agreed to the action plans, following an intense training process which consisted of a course on "the tools of quality for management and improvement". People who attended these meetings could share their ideas and plans with the other group members.
