Carlos Delgado introduced the installation to the Russian Federations of Athletics and Golf, the Russian tour operators Natalie Tours and Tez Tours and to representatives of the State Agency for Sport and Physical Culture

The athletics track is presented in Moscow.

 

Calvià Town Hall has presented the athletics track and natural grass football pitch during the course of the "MITT" - the Moscow Tourism Fair, which was held last week in the Russian capital.


Mayor Carlos Delgado, accompanied by the Director of the Calvià Sports Institute, Manuel Onieva, has had the opportunity to present these important sports installations, which are in the final phase of construction, and whose inauguration will take place in the month of July with the celebration of the Spanish Junior Athletics Championships, to the principal agents for sport and tourism in Moscow.


The presentation, organised by the Town Hall, was attended by Mikhail Butov, the Secretary General of the Russian Athletics Federation, with whom Carlos Delgado also shared a working breakfast to personally explain all the details of the Magaluf installations. He was very interested in the track's potential, due to the situation, availability of accommodation and other facilities, as well as its technical characteristics.


The project was also presented to Georgi Elkin, of the Federal Agency for Sport and Physical Culture; Olga Tsyplakova, Director of the Institute for Sport; the President of the Russian Golf Federation, Konstantin Kozhevnikov; representatives of the two most important Russian tour operators in Spain, Natalie Tours and Tez Tours, and also Antonio Llabrés, Senior Management of Sol Melià.


During a previous visit to the "MITT", Carlos Delgado was able to present the project to Luis Boves, Director of the office of Turespaña in Moscow, who described the sports installations as a product with great sporting possibilities for Russian football and athletics teams. He also met with the representatives of Sol Melià, Natalie Tours and Iberojet, who attended the fair.
