The Falla de El Toro celebrates its 32nd anniversary in an edition marked by the remembrance of the DANA victims in Valencia under the slogan «Un crit d’esperança». La Casa de Valencia in Calvià has held numerous events and collections of goods and food that have been sent to the neighbouring community.

As every year, two fallas have been displayed. Both are the work of the Manacor artist Toni Galmés. The main falla is called Per Naturalea and is inspired by the work of the renowned Fallas creator Pere Baenas. The children's falla, Anima't, brings together fictional icons such as Son Goku, Snoopy, Hello Kitty and Mario, amongst others.

An intense line-up of activities has been scheduled for the weekend with parades, mascletàs (firework displays) - led by Pirotècnia Valenciana from Llanera de Ranes -, floral offerings, barbecues, the traditional paella competition on Sunday midday, and the Gran Nit de Foc (Great Night of Fire) with a fireworks display on the same day starting at 9 p.m.

The main cast of the Fallas commission is made up of the president Óscar Blanco, the Fallera Mayor Beatriz Moreno, the (children's) Fallera Mayor Infantil Claudia Sancho, and the children's president Àlex Sesé. The Falla de El Toro has been twinned with those of García Lorca-Oltà (Valencia) and La Font (Pego).
