Calvià Town Hall has organised a Charity Gala, which will take place on Saturday 11th January at the Peguera Auditorium from 6pm, in aid of those affected by the DANA in Valencia.

The event will be presented by Madò Pereta and Manu Blanco and will feature various musical performances:

Los Javaloyas, a historic and legendary group on the Balearic music scene.

Mi Gran Noche, a tribute to great artists such as Julio Iglesias, Nino Bravo, Roberto Carlos or Raphael.

Tardes en el Café, a reminder of some of the greatest hits and songs from the 80s and 90s that marked a before and after in those times.

Tickets, which can be purchased at www.notikumi.com and also at the box office, cost €15. The money raised will be entirely donated to those affected by the tragic events in Valencia last October.

In November and December, various charity events were held in the municipality to raise funds to help the victims of the DANA. Among the activities highlighted were a jazz concert, a Zarzuela Gala, a charity paella and a special performance by the Calvià Municipal Music Band, as well as various performances by the CEPA Calvià.
