The deadline for applications for the call, which can be applied for by legal entities that want to carry out environmental initiatives in Calvià in 2025, closes this Thursday 14th November
Calvià Town Hall has announced the IV Calvià Environmental Awards for legal entities that carry out environmental initiatives in the municipality of Calvià. The call, whose deadline for submitting applications will close this Thursday 14th November, aims to highlight the initiatives in favour of the environment that are carried out in the municipality.
All legal entities that want to carry out an environmental initiative in the municipality of Calvià throughout the year 2025 related to environmental care, sustainability, environmental education, energy transition, the promotion of biodiversity and the reduction of waste and pollution can apply for this fourth call for applications.
The endowment for this call for awards is 15,000 euros. The first prize of 4,000 euros and goes to the entity with the environmental initiative that is best valued by the jury. A second prize of 3,000 euros will go to the entity with the environmental initiative that is second best valued by the jury.
Four third prizes of 2,000 euros each are also awarded, for each of the following categories: best environmental restoration and/or clean-up initiative, best action to promote or study biodiversity, best action to raise awareness or educate about the environment, and best action to promote sustainability, energy transition, waste reduction or pollutant reduction.
In the last call, APAEMA (Association of Ecological Agricultural Production of Mallorca), the project "Environmental Monitoring of 3 Beaches of Calvià", the Protemar Association, the Red Cross initiative "Environmental Awareness and Surveillance of Portals Vells" and the AMIPA CEIP Son Ferrer for the project "Creation of an Ecopatio" were awarded.
