Calvià Town Hall launches the 'Vínculo Canino' (Canine Bond) photography contest.

The aim is to promote animal welfare and make visible the unique relationship between people in the municipality and their canine companions

The deadline for participation will be open until 10th March

It is said that the dog is the most faithful companion, but now it is time to prove it. Calvià Town Hall, through the Animal Welfare area, has launched the Canine Bond photography contest, an initiative aimed at highlighting the special connection between people and their dogs through photography.

The contest is aimed exclusively at residents of the municipality, who may participate by sending an photo that reflects the complicity, trust and affection with their pet. In addition, minors may also participate, provided they submit the corresponding authorisation.

Each participant may submit a photograph. Dogs appearing in the photos must be identified with a microchip and have the mandatory rabies vaccination up to date. The three best photographs will be awarded a 50 euro voucher to be redeemed at the specialist pet shop Dogs&Dogs, located in Santa Ponça.

The deadline for participating is 10th March. A jury made up of members of Calvià Town Hall's Environment Service will select the winning photos, assessing their artistic quality, originality and ability to convey the special bond between people and their dogs.

Through this initiative, Calvià Town Hall seeks to promote animal welfare and make visible the unique relationship between people in the municipality and their canine companions.
