The Municipal Strategic Plan for the Prevention of Addictions 2022-2025 (PEMPA CALVIÀ) wants to respond to the current needs of citizens, incorporating the prevention of addictions that have their origin in the use of social networks and technological tools.
Our work in this new plan will focus primarily on:
Promote the implementation of preventive activities aimed at modifying problematic use behaviors, as well as reinforcing behaviors that promote healthy lifestyle habits.
Promote social awareness about the risks and harm caused by drugs and addictions, increase the perception of the danger associated with substance consumption and certain addictive behaviors: gambling; relationship, information and social communication technologies (Trics); and count on citizen participation for this purpose.
Reduce the presence in the social and community environment of the promotion of drug consumption and other behaviors likely to generate addiction.
Develop personal skills and abilities that reduce vulnerability to addictions.
Promote healthy lifestyle behaviors and habits and the use of the Internet with healthy leisure alternatives, incompatible with substance abuse and other addictive behaviors.
Promote comprehensive intervention in the field of addictions through coordination between the different service networks and citizen entities.
