The Calvià City Council has collaborated with the Fons Mallorquí de Solidaritat i Cooperació since 1994 through an annual contribution to finance the execution of international cooperation projects.

In 2018, the budget allocated €20,000 to the FMSC to pursue the aforementioned objectives.

Thanks to subsidies from different administrations, among others, the entity has worked to improve children's health in refugee camps.

The project supports the comprehensive Saharawi child health program (PISIS) through the technical advice of health personnel; the organization and management of nutrition workshops; the financing of a part of the salaries of health personnel; the provision of administrative and registration materials; and support for the continued training of PISIS staff.
