The monument Cross in Santa Ponca will transform itself this coming Sunday, August 7 at 10pm, into the perfect staging ground for the presentation of the musical “Creciente – Música del Mar”, which will also be the finale of the “Vespres Culturals 2011”, the cultural summer night events of this year.

'Creciente - Musical del Mar' is a melodious spectacular, which revisists the different themes that relate to the sea and coastal areas with the help of instruments, like for example the unknown ocean drum, able to re-create the sounds of the sea.

Alejando Pérez (vocals), Facundo Passeri (percussion), Sebastián Sartal (bass), Maria Federman (flute, vocals), Belén Martos (vocals), Ingrid Brettschneider (vocals), Leo Juanes (guitar) and a group of invited musicians take part in the musical.

They will all be the stars of this experience which, according to the musicians, emphasizes in “the search of a language that reflects the coast, its way of life and landscapes. On the way to finding it “El Mareo” was born, a rythm that is inspired by the movements of the sea, a navigating boat or a surfer waiting for the perfect wave”

Their show program will include titles like “Acantilados”, “Playa Serena”, “Las Veredas de los Plátanos” and “Barcos” amongst others
