The Sala Palmanova was the place chosen to hold the Quality in the public sector Institutional Forum´s annual conference, which gathered fourteen institutions and which the Calvià Town Hall was amongst them.
The Sala Palmanova was the place chosen to hold the Quality in the public sector Institutional Forum of the Balearic Islands annual conference, which gathered fourteen institutions and which the Calvià Town Hall was amongst them.
The Quality Forum´s main objective is, to promote the exchange of experiences in quality management between the member institutions, with the aim of improving its efficiency level and promote and spread the culture of quality and excellence between both, the public institutions and the citizens, in general, and the awareness of the institution´s maximum political and technical respects, in particular.
Currently, Calvià counts with three "Q"s for quality for three of its beaches which convert the municipality in pioneer on the Balearic Islands within the achievement of said recognition. Also, the five Municipal Tourist Information Offices were awarded, recently, with this distinctive, meaning a great novelty.
On the other hand, the Foundation Másfamilia awarded Calvià with the EFR distinctive, which converts it in a municipality familiarly responsable. This same award means taking the Local Cooperation´s effort into consideration when putting into practice the policies which promote, support and favour the conciliation, the family responsability and the equal right of opportunities, from its role of unifying social Institution.
The event counted with the presence of more than a hundred people representing the different public institutions of the Balearic Islands.
