The acknowledgment received for the beaches of Son Maties and Es Carregador joins to the one received last month for the beaches of Santa Ponça, Palmanova and Palmira.
The municipality of Calvià is, once more, a referent in terms of the quality of its beaches, after receiving two more Q´s for Quality. The beaches of Son Maties and Es Carregador have been awarded with the Q for Tourist Quality after the last assessment carried out by the certifying committee, this week.
The awards, which now join the three ones received last month for the beaches of Palmira, Palmanova and Santa Ponça, arrive after the compulsory exam which the certifying committee demands and which, amongst other things, evaluates the state of the facilities, the cleanliness, security, rescue and information.
Thus, the municipality of Calvià, with these other two Q´s for Tourist Quality for its beaches, is still the only one in the Balearic Islands which can claim to hold this acknowledgment for one of its greatest tourist assets.
