It allows to give an answer to any environmental consult arised, apart from serving as a direct channel of communication of the incidents detected in the urban equipment of the municipality.

The Calvià Town Hall has presented this morning the start-up of the 'Green Line' service (Línea Verde). This way, the consistory expects to create a direct channel of communication of environmental topics with the citizens and bussinesses of the municipality.

Clicking on the web page http://www.liniaverdacalvia.com/. is enough to have access to the 'GreenLine' service (Línea Verde). Once registered, the user will be able to present any environmental consult. A team of experts in the matter, will respond in a maximum of 24 hours. Also, the user will be able to inform the Town Hall of any incident detected in the urban equipment of the municipality.

In order to facilitate even more this new channel of communication, the Calvià Town Hall has also introduced the 'Green Line' service (Línea Verde) through the mobile phone.

In this case, the user must connect to the web Play Store or APP Store depending on the technology used in the mobile device (Android / iOS), select the application Línea Verde and download it for free. Once the application is opened, the user can decide to either present a consult or inform of an incident. The procedure is very fast and simple.

In order to inform of an incident, the user must select the category (comunicación de incidencias). By geolocation, the application is in charge of detecting automatically the exact coordinates in which said incident is located. However, the information can be sent manually by the user in a different time and/or from a different place. After, the user is able to attach a photograph of the incident with a brief description. Once it is sent, the responsible appointed by the Town Hall will receive a notification of said information. From this moment, the procedures to give a solution to the detected incident will start. Once the incident is resolved, the citizen receives a notification on his mobile phone.

The 'Green Line' service (Línea Verde), apart from being a direct channel of communication of consults and incidents, it also offers information about environmental legislation, management systems, residues, recycling, noise pollution etc... It also serves as a base of consult of administrative processing, grants and subsidies.

The 'Green Line' (Línea Verde) is a free of charge service. Both, citizens and bussinesses of the municipality can benefit from the advantages offered with no need of carrying out any monetary compensation.

With the introduction of this service, the Calvià Town Hall expects to offer a direct channel of communication to the citizens and bussinesses becoming therefore a municipality accomplishing the basic rules of socialwelfare.
