Once again, Calvia will be celebrating Europe day .
Once again, Calvia will be celebrating Europe day in honour of the creation of the E.E.C on the 9th May 1950. What better way to celebrate this Union than to offer an event whereby diverse nationalities can participate and introduce traits of their culture to the community . A good sample of multi-cultural participation , with products of different countries, musicians and groups are just a few of the activities that will form the celebration of Europe Day which will take place on the seafront promenade of the Es Carregador beach in Palma Nova on the 6th May from 12 noon onwards .
We can enjoy the following :
Stage area: Ball de Bot dancers, Flamenco dancers, Pop and rock groups, country music and line dancers are just a few of the acts that will be appearing during the 10 hours of programmed entertainment .
Stands area : More than 70 stands will be on show offering information and traditional products from different countries . An ideal area to wander, try and buy typical foods from different regions and contemplate promotions and offers from many companies.
Children´s Entertainment area: This area is a must for the children . They can enjoy bouncey castles, trampolines and a rodeo mechanical bull .
