Countdown to the most amusing, musical and entertaining carnival. It will take place on the forthcoming Saturday 14th February when all those participants in fancy dress will pass through the streets of Calvià village.
As every other year, we expect the attendance of a great number of participants and public to applaud the happiness and imagination of all those who come in fancy dress to the carnival in Calvià village and to, aboveall, enjoy of a great day of fun.
Registrations for Sa Rua: At the Department of Culture, from Tuesday 10th until Friday 13th February, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Tel. 971 139 181), or at the Cultural Centre of Magaluf (3, Puig de sa Mola St., Centro Unión), from Monday 9th until Thursday 12th February from 3.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Tel. 971 131 973). A person responsible for the group, who will attend Sa Rua and will have to be available at all times by the Organization, will be appointed at the moment of registration. Also, a prescription form, which compliance is obligatory, will be handed to the responsible of each group to sign at the moment of registration. Underage participants should be provided of an authorization signed by the parents or legal guardian. This authorization could be required by the authority during the development of Sa Rua. In case of animals participating in the parade, these should count with the company of security personnel apart from the corresponding permits.
The gathering to participate in Sa Rua will take place on Saturday 14th February from 4 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. all along the Ses Quarterades St. (Calvià Village).
