First meeting between the responsibles of this area of both Town Halls, Calvià and Palma, in which they have dealt aspects of technical and normative nature
CALVIÀ AND PALMA OPEN WAYS OF COLLABORATION IN TERMS OF CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
The Calvià Town Hall's Councillor for Citizen Participation, Fernando Alcaraz, held a meeting with the First Deputy Mayor Councillor for the area of Citizen Participation and Territorial Coordination, Miquel Comas, in a first contact to know the lines of action of both Town Halls within this field.
During the meeting, to which also attended the Councillor for Youth, Israel Molina, and the general directors for Citizen Participation of Calvià and Palma, Juan Antonio Marcos and Marina Orell, respectively, they dealt aspects of technical and normative nature, as well as establishment strategies and participative mechanisms, some of them innovative in the politics of the Balearic Islands.
Both municipalities have talked about the possibility of establishing a more stable coordination, and that could be extended to other participation fields, as well as they exposed the necessity of coordinating with intermunicipal and supramunicipal structures.
