For the 1st of Baccalaureate pupils of the Secondary Education Schools of Son Ferrer and Bendinat

THE CALVIÀ TOWN HALL GIVES ANSWER TO THE TRANSPORTATION PROBLEM OF THE 1ST OF BACCALAUREATE PUPILS OF THE SECONDARY EDUCATION SCHOOLS OF SON FERRER AND BENDINAT

Today starts functioning the new complementary service which will benefit around 150 pupils

 

As from today, the new school transportation complementary service starts functioning to give answer to the problems suffered in certain secondary education schools of the municipality.

 

The pupils of the Secondary Education Schools (SES) of Bendinat and Son Ferrer suffered a school transportation problem as on Wednesdays and Thursdays their school schedule finishes at 3 p.m. -whereas the rest of the (SES) pupils finish at 2 p.m.-, and consequently could not use the Regional Ministry's regular transport.

 

For this reason, the Town Hall, as it established in the municipal budget for 2016, starts as from today a complementary service on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 3 p.m. to resolve said poblem.

 

As from today, 13th January, 3 routes with 2 buses and a minibus will departure at 3 p.m. from the (SES) of Bendinat to accompany the pupils of 1st of baccalaureate to the different areas of the municipality. 132 pupils will be able to use said service.

 

Furthermore, a minibus will departure from the (SES) of Son Ferrer to the areas of El Toro, Sol de Mallorca, Magaluf and Son Caliu to accompany the pupils. 16 pupils will be able to use said service.

 

In total, 148 pupils of the (SES) of Bendiant and Son Ferrer will benefit of this new service.
