The Mayor appoints the three renowned professionals that are part of the Land-use planning Review's Advisory Commission.
The Mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, has appointed the three renowned professionals who will be part of the Land-use planning Review's Advisory and Monitoring Commission.
The three advisors who will be part of the advisory body are Joseba Dañobeitia, architect, editor of Calvià's PGOU of year 2000, general director of Architecture and Housing of the Regional Government between 2007 and 2011, professor at the UIB and Urban Planning Master; Avel·lí Blasco, professor of Administrative Law and ex-rector of the UIB; and Josep Manchado, geographer, General Director of Environment of the Consell de Mallorca and director of the drafting of the Insular Territorial Plan of Menorca approved in 2003.
The Land-use planning Review's Advisory Commission is a body provided in the General Plan's Citizen Participation Programme which is chaired by the Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning, and integrated, amongst others, by representatives of the different municipal groups, entities related to the urban planning field, the GOB, technicians of the Town Hall and three renowned urban planning technicians appointed by the Mayor.
It is envisaged that the Advisory Commission will meet after they have drawn up the basic lines of Land-use planning Review (which will go on public display) so that, once analysed and studied, they can give their opinions on the content, always according to the Citizen Participation programme which starts-up for the first time and that guarantees the participation of collectives, entities and the citizenship in general.
