THE GREEN LINE (LÍNIA VERDA) ATTENDS 1.277 MISHAPS IN THE LAST ELEVEN MONTHS.


Assistance practically triples assistance to citizens compared to the same period of last year, while waiting for response and solution times from the Town hall have lowered significantly.


The green line of Calvià (Línia Verda) has handled a total of 1,277 incidents in the past eleven months, from 1st June 2015 until 30th April 2016. In the same period of the previous year -June 2014 to April 2015- there were 466 mishaps, so the incidents reported to the Town Council through this channel have almost tripled in the last year.


The green line is a service offered by the Town Hall of Calvia to citizens so they can quickly and easily report on mishaps and incidents that they observe in the public areas of the municipality by telephone, online, or through the mobile application.


Regarding subjects, worth noting are the 160 incidents related to on footpaths and roads (12.53%); 139 regarding streetlights (10.88%), 121 referring to parks and gardens (9.48%) and 113 for rubbish (8.85%).


The waiting time of all incidents has been reduced by 57.58% in the last 11 months and the waiting time for the resolution of incidents has decreased by 46.50% compared to the same period last year.


The Town Council appreciates the citizen cooperation in order to keep the municipality clean and without problems or damage to the municipal street furniture of different areas, and encourages everyone to contribute to the protection of the natural environment.
