Hotel improvements in Magaluf.

The Mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, attended the presentation of the project of the new Jamaica hotel, and the new Meliá Antillas Calvià Beach, as part of the improvements that the Meliá hotel chain is carrying in the area of Magaluf.


In the event, which was also attended by the General Director for Tourism of the Balearic Islands Government, Pilar Carbonell, the Mayor emphasised the importance of public-private partnership collaboration to move towards improving the area, insisting that there is no going back.


The presentation was also attended by the Deputy Mayor for Tourism Trade and Urban Planning, Antonio García Moles, the Councillor for Commerce, Activities and Environment, Francisca Muñoz, and the Councillor for the Magaluf area, Alfonso Molina.
