THE CALVIÀ TOWN HALL LAUNCHES THE PROCESS OF YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPLETION OF REGULATIONS FOR SELF-MANAGED CENTRES
The Calvià Town Hall, through the Youth Department, has launched the first phase for the completion of regulations for self-managed centres, which soon will have the municipality.
From the Youth Department it is considered essential that the future regulation arises from the contributions of the youths themselves. Therefore, a period for the debate and the collection of proposals, to be held in the three institutes of the municipality (IES Bendinat, IES Calvià and IES Son Ferrer), has been opened.
This first phase will be fully face-to-face. The presentation and debate will take place in the classrooms from 12th to 23rd September, and the regulations' proposals will be collected from 26th September to 7th October.
There will be a second phase -to be launched in 2017- which will be extended to the participation of different groups and youth associations.
The completion of regulations for self-managed centres is the third participatory process that the Calvià Town Hall has already launched, along with the basic lines and revision of the Land-use Planning, and the Drought Foresight Emergency Plan.
