THE CALVIÀ TOWN HALL PROPOSES THE CONSELL SOME LANDS OF THE SON BUGADELLES INDUSTRIAL ESTATE TO INSTALL THE MOT CENTRE
The muncipal owned lands have an area of 4.000 m2
The Mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal visited last week along with the Executive Councillor of Territory and Infraestructures of the Consell de Mallorca, Mercedes Garrido, and the Insular Director of Infrastructures and Mobility, Joan Cifre, the lands of the Son Bugadelles industrial estate which the Town Hall considers optimal for the location of a new ITV - Vehicle Technical Inspection centre (MOT), in Mallorca.
The municipal owned lands have an approximate area of 4.000 m2 and border with two perpendicular streets facing the barracks of the Civil Guard. They are vacant plots provided with all services, so the new facility would be doable immediately when the Consell de Mallorca draws up the corresponding projects.
During the visit, the Insular Councillor considered the land appropiate for the location of the MOT centre because of the possibility of accessing by two streets. With regards to the surface it has to be suitable for the 3 inspection lines that the service is expected to have and verify that the lands are sufficient for hosting the service.
