One more year, the Calvià Town Hall puts into operation the foreign tourist service (SATE) in the municipal premises that the Civil Guard of Magaluf and Peguera have available.

It is a service that the Town Hall provides the Civil Guard of attention and information to foreign visitors who do not know the official languages of the autonomous community and who have to carry out formalities in the headquarters during the months of June, July, August and September, thus facilitating access to the different services provided by the Civil Guard.

This service is carried out within the framework of collaboration between both institutions, thus reinforcing the actions in matters of security in the municipality.

The service is provided from Monday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Magaluf post, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the post in Peguera.

Mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal paid a visit to the SATE office in Peguera, located at the Casal de Peguera, along with the deputy mayor for Security, Andreu Serra, the deputy mayor for Tourism, Antonio García Moles, and the councillor of the area of Peguera, Juan Cuadros, as well as the local police chief of Calvià, Justino Trenas, the Town Hall's general director of Tourism, Joan Mesquida, and the lieutenant commander of the main post of the Civil Guard of Calvià, Eduardo Herrero. The visit was also attended by the president of the Hotel Association of Peguera and Cala Fornells, Antoni Mayol.
