The Majorcan singer-songwriter will carry out cultural and tourist promotion in the municipality.
Calvià, 3 March 2005.- The Mayor of Calvià, Carlos Delgado and the representative of Jaume Anglada have this morning signed a contract whereby the Majorcan singer-songwriter will culturally promote the municipality of Calvià at a local, national and international level for the next 13 months.
The contract which has been signed, has the aim of spreading the cultural, in particular music, and the tourist aspects of the municipality of Calvià.
Jaume Anglada has promised to do 3 concerts for the Town Hall y carry out three presentations together with the representatives of the Town Hall at the World Travel Market 2005; Fitur 2006 and ITB 2006. Furthermore in the course of these presentations, a video-clip recorded at the most typical places of the municipality will be shown by way of promotion
At the same time, the singer-songwriter will carry the image of the municipality on his new record as well as at his concerts. He will also collaborate in the creation of a music festival in Calvià and will create a musical theme dedicated to the municipality. Jaume Anglada will exhibit the image of the municpality at all his concerts and press conferences and will participate in any project presentations that the Town Hall are interested in counting with his assistance, under the condition that they are social, cultural, sport or tourist projects.
The contract also covers the assistance for the publishing of his new record, for the recording of the first videoclip as well as for the national promotion of the record.
Finally, it should be noted that the inspection of the work will be carried out by the area of Culture at the Town Hall which is managed by the Regidor Constantina Hernández. The duration of the contract is for 13 months, although it can be extended if need be.
