CALVIÀ ORGANISES THE CONFERENCE "COOPERATIVES, COMPANIES OF THE FUTURE" AT ES GENERADOR IN SON CALIU
The Unió de Cooperatives de Treball Associat de les Illes Balears and the Conselleria de Treball, Comerç i Indústria collaborate in the event
The Conference "Cooperatives, companies of the future", organised by the Unió de Cooperatives de Treball Associat de les Illes Balears (UCTAIB) and sponsored by both the Calvià Town Hall and the Ministry of Trade, Commerce and Industry, will be held at the 'Amplificador' room in Es Generador (8 Voranova St. Son Caliu. Calvià) next Tuesday 23rd October from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m.
The conference will begin with a welcome given by the deputy mayor for Social Cohesion and Equality and president of the Institut de Formació i Ocupació de Calvià (IFOC), Nati Francés, who will give way to the technical presentation "Les cooperatives, empreses de futur "by Catibel de la Fuente, from UCTAIB. Next, the cooperative companies of Mallorca, Centrotele, Supescoop and Si will explain their experiences in a colloquium format moderated by the president of UCTAIB, Enric Pozo.
In addition, the Servei d'Orientació of UCTAIB will be presented, with special mention to the specific grants for these companies and the future micro-cooperatives law that introduces significant novelties to encourage and favour the creation of micro-enterprises under the cooperative work society model. The event will end at 7.30 p.m. with the closing speech carried out by Enric Pozo, president of UCTAIB.
