Calvià 365, el Invierno en Calvià, a revamped tourism programme for the low season.

  • The previous winter activities programme has been updated in response to new market trends and a commitment to digitalisation

Calvià Town Hall presents Calvià 365, el Invierno en Calvià, a revamped tourism programme for the low season that seeks to consolidate the municipality as an attractive destination year-round. This initiative, which evolved from the previous Calvià, el Invierno Europeo, responds to new market trends and is committed to digitalisation to promote visitor arrivals during the mid- and low-season, from October to April.

Through a nominal grant, the consistory supports the municipality's hotel associations in managing the programme by implementing strategic actions to stimulate demand and diversify the municipality's offer beyond sun and beach tourism. With the change of name and approach, Calvià 365, el Invierno en Calvià expands its scope and perspective, promoting experiences linked to culture, sports, gastronomy, and MICE tourism (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions).

The programme, which began in 1992, has evolved to adapt to visitor trends and the current needs of the tourism sector. In recent years, only Peguera had applied for the subsidy; however, in 2025, the Santa Ponça Hotel Association will join with a completely digital programme, in addition to Peguera, which has integrated new online initiatives.

Through this evolution, the new programme aims to position the municipality as a benchmark for winter tourism on the islands and consolidate Calvià as an attractive destination 365 days a year.
