Calvià will follow the Euro Cup 2024 final in a festive atmosphere

Calvià will live the Euro Cup 2024 final between the Spain's national football team and the England's national football team in a festive atmosphere. Calvià Town Hall has confirmed today that it is going to install a giant screen in Son Caliu to give visibility to one of the most important matches of the National Team. The national team is seeking its fourth Euro Cup after an immaculate tournament to date. The place chosen is the Plaza Nueva in Son Caliu.
Calvià is a leading municipality in international sports and this initiative confirms Calvià's commitment to sports in a festival that will be open to all citizens. The idea is to fill the Plaza Nueva in Son Caliu from 7 p.m. with DJ music entertainment, even though the game will not start until 9 p.m.
The Deputy Mayor for Sports and Councillor for the area, Javier Tascón, has stated that: “The Son Caliu Neighbourhood Association has promoted this initiative and we are giving them all the support by organising this party, which is a party for sports. Calvià is a municipality that is committed to sports and, as it could not be otherwise, we support the National Team. We invite all Calvià citizens to enjoy with us this very important match that we hope will be resolved with a victory.”
It is worth remembering that within the framework of Euro Cup 2024, Calvià Twow Hall allows taxi drivers to wear the red or official national team T-shirt. Until Sunday, 14th July, autotaxi and euro-taxi drivers can voluntarily opt for this clothing as a show of support for the Spanish team, which is now preparing to play the final against England.
