THE FUNDACIÓN CALVIÀ 365 LAUNCHES A PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION TO HIGHLIGHT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AREAS OF THE MUNICIPALITY
Organised in collaboration with Corto España, it is part of World Tourism Day celebration on 27th September
The Fundación Calvià 365, with the support of Corto España, launches the photography competition "Mi rincón favorito de Calvià" (My favourite area of Calvià). This initiative is included in the activities scheduled to commemorate World Tourism Day, which is celebrated on 27th September, and whose main objective is to stimulate the creativity of citizens in the field of digital photography, while highlighting the beauty and uniqueness of the most emblematic areas of Calvià.
The deadline for submitting photographs in "My favourite area of Calvià" competition ends on 10th September 2024. Each participant can submit an unlimited number of works and must complete a registration form for each one. The photographs must be published on the social network Instagram, using the hashtags #mirinconfavorito and #mirinconfavoritodecalvia. Registration is free and online. Two local prizes and ten national prizes will be awarded, which will be selected by a specialised jury from amongst all the proposals that meet the established requirements and are received within the specified period.
With this competition, the Fundación Calvià 365 seeks to encourage the active participation of the community, encouraging Calvià residents, as well as visitors, to share their personal vision of the most outstanding spaces in the municipality.
