Attention: Meteorological Alert in Calvià
By order of the DGEI (General Directorate of Emergencies and Interior), the update of the alert level of the following is communicated:
- Special plan against risks due to adverse meteorological phenomena Meteobal, the Severity Index of the Pitiusas Islands is modified to IG-0 and of Mallorca and Menorca to IG-1
- Special plan against flood risks Inunbal, the Operational Situation of the Pitiusas Islands is modified to S0-1 and of Mallorca to S0-0, in Menorca the Operational Situation 2 is maintained.
As a result, the ban on outdoor activities has been lifted in the Pitiusas Islands and Mallorca, although extreme caution is recommended due to the persistent risks associated with rain and storms, which are expected to be less frequent, but which are still intense and difficult to predict locally and temporarily. With regard to Menorca, the ban on outdoor activities continues.
